The first of three events that anticipate the Festival of the Future is in Brescia

“Brescia, the metropolis in your pocket”, the focus of the first preview event scheduled for Monday 7 October at 6pm at the MITA Museum.

Verona, 24 September 2024.From 27 to 30 November the Festival of the Future returns to Veronafiere for its sixth edition, the only event in which different futures merge, intersect and intertwine in the visions of the great protagonists of our time, in search of a synthesis between opportunities and contradictions, divisions and new collaborations, crises and transitions, uncertainties and risks, for the first timepromoted in synergy with JOB&Orienta, the exhibition dedicated to Orientation, School, Training and Work.

As is now tradition, the Festival will be preceded bythree preview eventshosted in the cities of Brescia, Vicenza and, for the first time, Mantua:Waiting for the Brescia Festival, Waiting for the Vicenza Festival and Waiting for the Mantua Festival, scheduled respectivelyMonday 7,Monday 14theMonday 21 Octoberat 6pm.“Brescia, the metropolis in your pocket”the title of the Brescia event, of which the daily newspaper Bresciaoggi is the official media. It will be hosted byMITA – International Museum of Ancient Carpetsin via Arturo Reggio 12 in Brescia.The city of Bresciafor years it has embarked on a journey, made up of courageous choices, which has led it to represent, at least at a national level, aexample of a citywhich is very close to the concept ofsmart cities. At the basis of this result was a holistic approach which primarily concerned themobility: Brescia is, in fact, the only medium-sized Italian city to have a metro line. Under the ambitious title “Society 5.0: how to build a human-centric world", will consist of four days of meetings aimed at young people, companies, investors and citizens. A special edition, enriched by a new and prestigious scientific partnership with MIT Sloan Management Review Italia, the reference magazine on leadership and management. Thanks to its contents, the festival will offer an in-depth analysis of the challenges posed by technological, social and environmental forces, and how these are redefining the way in which organizations operate, compete and create value.During the event, we will explore thedelicate balance between man and technology, highlighting how advanced innovations must enhance human beings, without replacing them.
